Jesus desires His Kingdom principles to be lived out by His people in all 7 societal mountains –FAMILY, CHURCH, EDUCATION, MARKETPLACE, MEDIA, ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT, & GOVERNMENT.

We see in the Bible that God created man and woman in His image. God originally set up this world so that mankind could enjoy the fullness of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. The Bible contains God’s “blueprint” for mankind. Genesis 1:28 says: And God blessed them (mankind), and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over…”

Basically God gave the keys to His Kingdom to mankind. As we know Satan deceived Adam and Eve into giving him the keys to the earth. He went on to attempt to destroy the wonderful creation God made for us to enjoy. Now for the Great News. Jesus Christ, by His finished work at the Cross, took the keys away from Satan and gave them back to mankind.

So God’s original mandate to Adam and Eve still stands. God’s heart motive behind all of this is to share His incredible joy and fulfillment of LIFE with all mankind, while at the same time offering us humans an amazing eternal relationship with Himself. But these only come through the blueprint of His Kingdom ways.

Therefore God desires to work with His people, as change-agents, to transform their spheres of influence with Kingdom of God principles. YWAM Austin has taken up this mandate, and will be creating various disciple-making movements within the 7 spheres of society. We will help train, equip, and send people back into their spheres of influence, confident with the practical skills to manifest God’s Presence and Kingdom ways where ever they are.
